7 days until our troops go unpaid. While they stand watch across the globe, defending our nation’s freedom, their families at home may be left struggling to cover rent, buy groceries, and afford childcare.
Veterans On Duty urges Congress to put politics aside and act immediately to ensure our service members are not made collateral damage in Washington’s dysfunction. Our troops have never failed to show up for this country, Congress cannot fail them now.
It’s time to put our military, our national security, and our country over politics. End the shutdown. Pay our troops.
