Dear Friends,
As we reflect on the blessings in our lives this holiday season, we must also pause to remember the challenges faced and sacrifices made by those who have sworn to defend our nation.
Just last week, two Iranian nationals were charged in connection with the drone strike in Jordan that tragically claimed the lives of three courageous U.S. service members and injured another 30. These men and women were serving far from home, standing guard against our nation’s adversaries so that we may enjoy peace and freedom. Their sacrifice—and the sacrifices of their families—must never be forgotten.
At Veterans On Duty, we are reminded daily of the incredible strength and resilience of our military community. Whether it’s those currently serving overseas, veterans facing challenges here at home, or the families who carry the weight of separation, their dedication deserves our unwavering support and gratitude.
Together, we can continue to build a community that honors service, strengthens support, and makes a difference for all who have worn the uniform in defense of this great country. As you gather with your loved ones, we ask that you take a moment to reach out to your fellow veterans, military families, and anyone who may need to know they are not alone.
