Dear Friends,
As families across America come together this Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the blessings we enjoy because of the generations of service members who have stood watch far from home. While we share meals with loved ones, thousands of men and women in uniform are spending this holiday in harm’s way, separated from their families so that ours can gather in peace.
Their courage, commitment, and willingness to serve in the face of danger safeguard the freedoms that define our country. From the veterans who once carried that responsibility to those serving today in distant corners of the world, we owe each of them our gratitude.
This Thanksgiving, we ask our community to take a moment to remember those who cannot be at their own tables. Keep them and their families in your thoughts and offer thanks for their sacrifice.
