Maximum Pressure Returned with Trump

Dear Friends,

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu became the first foreign leader to visit President Trump at the White House during his second term. This momentous meeting sent a clear message to our adversaries and allies alike: the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our nations are strong, and we will continue to stand behind Israel as it works to destroy Hamas, combat terrorism, and secure peace in the region.

Under the Biden Administration, our adversaries grew emboldened. Hamas launched its brutal invasion from Gaza, Hezbollah bombarded Israel with rockets from Lebanon, and Iran and its other terrorist proxies escalated their ballistic missile attacks. Yet despite these threats, Israel has not only endured but prevailed.

But the fight is far from over. The Iranian regime in Tehran is moving at an alarming pace towards building a nuclear weapon, threatening both Israel’s survival and America’s security. We are pleased to see President Trump deliver on his campaign promise to reimpose “maximum pressure” on Iran, and we recommit ourselves to advocating for policies that support both the United States and our strongest ally in the Middle East.
