On Saturday, the United States launched Operation Midnight Hammer—a precise, tactical strike involving 150 U.S. aircraft and ships against three of Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites. This measured response was aimed at preventing the Islamic regime from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Since 1979, Iran has targeted the U.S. and its allies—from the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing to the deaths of over a thousand American troops by Iranian IEDs, and the abduction and murder of Americans on October 7th. The regime has long had American blood on its hands.
Directed by President Trump and executed with precision by our warfighters, this operation sent a clear message: the United States will act decisively to defend its national security.
President Trump’s leadership reflects a consistent commitment to peace through strength. Operation Midnight Hammer is the latest demonstration of that resolve.
But the threat remains. On Monday, Iran launched ballistic missiles at U.S. bases in Qatar and Iraq. While their immediate response may be limited, the regime maintains cyber capabilities and other irregular capabilities to strike U.S. targets. These threats must not be ignored or underestimated.
