These actions were necessary to safeguard Israeli citizens and simultaneously served to advance vital U.S. national security interests in the region—reinforcing the importance of a strong and enduring U.S.-Israel partnership.
Israel is more than a strategic ally—it serves as a forward presence in one of the world’s most volatile regions. Its unparalleled intelligence capabilities, military strength, and critical geographic position contribute significantly to the security of not only the Israeli people, but the American people as well.
As veterans, we’ve seen firsthand how vital trusted allies are on the battlefield and beyond. This moment reminds us why we must stand with those who share our mission and are willing to carry it forward.
Today, VOD is launching a digital campaign to rally our nation’s veterans to stand with our ally and push back against the growing wave of isolationism in Washington. Israel is doing the tough work to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program and we must do what’s necessary to ensure the mission is seen through to completion—for the sake of our shared security and the future of the free world.
