Washington, D.C. — Today, Veterans On Duty (VOD) is proud to announce the launch of its new original video series, Beyond the Call, set to premiere next week on the organization’s YouTube channel and social media accounts.
Beyond the Call is an episodic series of in-depth conversations with military veterans and national security leaders who continue to serve our nation long after hanging up their uniform. Through candid discussions, the series explores the unshakable sense of duty that drives these individuals—and the crucial role principled policy plays in safeguarding our nation’s strength and security.
The inaugural episode features a powerful dialogue between series hosts, Jeremy Hunt, Chairman of VOD and Army veteran, and Garrett Exner, Board Member of VOD and former Marine Corps Special Operations Officer. Together, they reflect on their motivations for serving, lessons learned from the battlefield, and why they’ve taken the fight to the halls of Washington to defend American interests and values in the policy arena.
New episodes of Beyond the Call will be released monthly, offering an ongoing look at how today’s veterans are shaping the national conversation and contributing to U.S. national security beyond the call of military service.

About Veterans On Duty
The mission of VOD is to ensure the United States of America has a strong, prepared, and focused military. We are building a national grassroots movement of fellow veterans and likeminded patriots who believe in a strong America—at home and abroad. Today, we are once again answering the call of duty for the same reasons we fought overseas: for love of country and a devotion to protecting the American way of life.
