Dear Friends,
Veterans On Duty (VOD) congratulates President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance on their historic electoral victory this week. Vice President-elect Vance will become the first Marine in U.S. history and first veteran of the Global War on Terror to serve in the office.
It’s no secret that the state of the world has changed dramatically in the last four years under President Joe Biden. We are facing threats greater and more complex than at any time since the Cold War. The last four years have proven that weakness and appeasement are dangerous. The American people have chosen Donald Trump to lead the United States, and the world, through these tumultuous times.
As our adversaries continue to expand their cooperation and devise new strategies to undermine our security, we must remain resolute in the defense of our nation, the American way of life, and the values that have made this country great.
We are confident that the Trump-Vance Administration will champion our veterans, our men and women in uniform, and all those who defend our freedoms. There is no shortage of issues that need addressing. As new leaders take office, VOD is committed to making the voice of veterans known – and continuing the fight for principled and prudent national security policies.
VOD will continue to advocate for a strong, focused, and capable military that will deter, and if necessary, defeat our adversaries. Together, we can build a brighter future for our veterans, rebuild our arsenal of democracy, and secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come.
This week millions of Americans upheld their civic duty and exercised their right to vote. This right has and continues to be protected by our countless brothers and sisters in arms who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
As we look ahead, join VOD to ensure the voices of our veterans are heard. Share our newsletter with your friends, family, and fellow veterans and encourage them to subscribe. Visit our website to learn more today.
Sincerely,
Veterans On Duty
